My Wife Bought A Boat! Full Tour of CC’s New (Used) Boat – Complete DIY Restoration

Our wives love to fish! CC already had an older Ranger bass boat but she needed a larger platform. She upgraded to a used Champion 198 this Winter and has been working on DIY projects to dial it in all Spring. When she got the boat it was stripped, leaving room to rig it any way her heart desired. Come along as she gives a full tour, showing every detail of how she chose to rig this boat. From the Ultrex 112 trolling motor to brand new electronics and accessories throughout, she did it right!

Buying a bass boat can be a very stressful time. For the angler buying a new boat, you’re faced with the anxiety of selecting from a handful of electronics options, color schemes, engine sizes, etc. For the angler purchasing a used boat, you’re faced with fears of reliability and hidden damage. For both groups, it can be an incredible experience if you have a little confidence about what you’re looking for. If you’re considering a used boat purchase, this video will tell you everything you need to look for before committing to buy: https://youtu.be/cZtbnWpl4uI

After making a purchase the next step is to dial the boat in so you feel like its your own. This may involve big purchases like a new motor, shallow water anchors, or seats. It could also just be as simple as a few stickers that make it feel personal. When CC purchased her boat it was stripped. There was no trolling motor, electronics, batteries, charger, etc… She had a blank slate to work with and over the course of a few months we were able to buy and install all the parts and pieces to make it her own.

Below are a list of the parts and equipment that were upgraded. We’ll follow the course of the video so we’ll begin in the stern and work our way to the bow.

Aluminum Bass Boat Machine: Gussy’s Full 2020 Setup

Aluminum Bass Boat Machine: Gussy’s Full 2020 Setup
From stern to bow, Jeff "Gussy" Gustafson’s Lund 2075 Pro-V Bass is a hyper-tricked out bass fishing machine more than capable of competing on famed tournament waters throughout North America or multi-species guiding on Canada’s famed Lake of the Woods. Gussy gives Wired2Fish a full walk-through of the boat, engine, electronics and accessories that round out the most current equipment available. Keep in mind that we understand a configuration like this isn’t for everyone (budget or need) – Gussy is a national touring pro making a living from this boat. If nothing else, it’s fun looking under the hood of a performance machine with all the bells and whistles. When it comes to powering, he shares his take on Mercury’s Pro XS after a year of hard running as well as a few accessories that aid in performance and trailering. Most notably, he explains why the T-H Marine Atlas Jack Plate is an indispensable tool for rough water and shallow water situations. Transitioning into the boat, Gussy details his battery configuration for powering a full suite of fish finders and boat control tools from Humminbird and Minn Kota. The integrated One-Boat Network connects dual Humminbird HELIX and SOLIX fish finders and Humminbird 360 MEGA Imaging to Talon shallow water anchors and the Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor. All this equipment is connected and talks for a fully integrated fish finding and boat control platform. Lastly, Gussy hits on several boating accessories in-between that enhance fishing, convenience, and the rigging process. ========= ABOUT US: ========= Wired2fish is one of the most popular recreational fishing brands in the world. How To Catch The Biggest Bass In Your Lake – Full Seminar

How To Catch The Biggest Bass In Your Lake - Full Seminar
Want to catch bigger fish? Want to catch the BIGGEST fish?! Targeting big bass requires a different mind set and a special set of skills. You need to set new goals, approach the water, weather, and environmental conditions differently. It might even require a bait or two you’re not familiar with. But when you set the hook on the biggest bass you’ve ever seen, its instantly worth it! Dive in to today’s full-length seminar and learn everything you’ll need to know to catch the biggest bass in your lake. Tim does an extraordinary job of teaching what you’ll need to know to be successful. Catching bigger bass starts with a shift in your mindset. You’re no longer on the water trying to catch fish, you’re there to catch ONE fish. None of the other bass in the lake matter as much as the single fish you’re pursuing so stay focused. Fish when the weather and environment are working in your favor, and success will follow. While giant swimbaits are a huge part of consistently targeting BIG bass but there are other baits that will also catch these fish. Knowing how to "trigger" a feed response is critical. Baits like jerkbaits, crankbaits, and Alabama Rigs all play a key role in this method. Its also important to understand when conditions simply aren’t conducive to big bait fishing and you’re better off with a finesse approach.
